For our seventh #PeopleAtGaan post, we feature entrepreneur Joel San Jose. The creative entrepreneur behind SJ Event Styling, his love for plants and flowers has allowed him to create the most memorable venues and the most breath-taking floral designs for his clients here and abroad. Currently, if not busy with weddings and events, he spends his weekends in their small farm in Pampanga and works with Bulacan-based potters for his Balai Cinco.
For our sixth #PeopleAtGaan post, we feature Dr. Glenn Angeles. Always driven by his desire to help people see the world clearer and better, he excellently pursued various professions as an ophthalmologist, a serial entrepreneur, an innovator, and soon, an inventor. Currently finishing his MSIB Program at the Asian Institute of Management, he is also a prolific art and toy collector, a dedicated plant enthusiast, and a talented tortoise breeder.
For our fifth #PeopleAtGaan post, we feature Ana Singcol, an active girl who hates being still. She is a lawyer by profession and a traveling marathoner by heart who loves to read great novels and collect local contemporary art pieces in between. For her new plant baby, she happily chose a Stephaniea erecta for her little corner table by the window.
For our fourth #PeopleAtGaan post, we feature Ranier and Mae Santiago, the lovely couple and inspiring entrepreneurs behind Spectacle Group. A startup focused on providing consumers with agriculture-based wellness goods, Spectacle Group includes Akind Bakery which produces a range of delicious gluten-free breads made from locally sourced rice flour. As certified plant enthusiasts, they converted their office rooftop into a makeshift garden that looks like a small urban park for strolling.
For our third #PeopleAtGaan post, we feature startup founder Ariel Silva. Finishing his MSIB Program at the Asian Institute of Management, Ariel is a full-time technology developer whose current interests include local contemporary art, stocks and new currencies, and discovery of comfort food. Thanks to his friendly enablers, his work-from-home space is now enjoying some good greens and warmth because of his houseplants from Gaan.
