For our twelfth #PeopleAtGaan post, we feature certified gardenerette Sindy Montaño. A nurse by profession, she is currently working as an HR manager of their family business, Great Hope General Services, Inc. She considers gardening as the best way to connect with nature these days and cherishes each plant experience as a magical moment. Because for her, plants make her feel calm and give her a sense of inner peace.
For her Gaan plant, she chose a shrub with lovely pastel green-colored called Green Dust in a locally handcrafted terracotta pot. Message us if you have inquiries about the plant and/or the pot.
For our eleventh #PeopleAtGaan post, we feature young married couple Dustin Cheng and Yandra Po. Both professional interior designers, Dustin is currently a project manager for a firm, and Yandra is a full-time artist whose art pieces are highly coveted by many. Despite her hectic painting schedule, Yandra is able to find time to religiously take care of her lovely indoor plants, with Dustin’s very generous support. If you see Yandra’s impeccable chinoiserie paintings, you will understand her profound fascination and love for plants.
For their Gaan plant, they chose a pair of Stephania kaweesakii, considered by many as the most fascinating Stephania there is. Message us if you wish to inquire about this stunning beauty.
For our tenth #PeopleAtGaan post, we feature Mon Navarro. A guy adept in business operations and logistics, he works for the logistics arm and subsidiary company of the Metro Pacific Investments Corporation as its Vice President and Cluster Head. Currently finishing his MSIB Program at the Asian Institute of Management, he is also interested in photography and health-tech startup (which he will co-found and launch soon). For him, a good plant is something you bring home. In his case, he bought his first Gaan plant for his lovely wife as a Mother’s Day gift.
For our ninth #PeopleAtGaan post, we feature young banker Alex Dizon. Currently affiliated with one of the biggest banks in the country, she is a product owner who co-builds applications that allow businesses to bank online during the pandemic. As a new plant enthusiast, she makes sure that her personal space has beautiful greens for solace and reflection.
For her Gaan plant, she chose a beautiful Stephania erecta. Message us if you wish to take home this caudex beauty.
For our eighth #PeopleAtGaan post, we feature creative mover Tal de Guzman. An award-winning entrepreneur and a passionate champion of local craftsmanship, she founded two creative enterprises: Risqué Designs, an ethically handcrafted footwear brand that is co-created with local artisans, and Stride Collective, an online marketplace that makes the discovery and shopping of premium, locally-made footwear easy and accessible. As a new plant enthusiast, she makes sure to only choose plants that are easy to grow and maintain.
